Ideal 18 Clinics f0r 2026

Team Racing Practice (Tuesday), 6pm-9pm
May 5th, 12th, 19th, 26th
Come work on your boat handling as well as learn strategies and tactics for 2v2 team racing.  Skippers range from high level drivers to learning team racing.  There are no spinnakers, so this can be a good place for less experienced crews to learn a fun discipline of the game, and to improve their non-spinnaker boat handling.

Tune-up Clinic (Sunday) 1:00pm-4:00pm

May 31st, June 7th, June 14th
For new and returning sailors. Covers Ideal basics: rigging, docking, sail trim, tacking, jibing and more. 3-session series builds on each clinic, sailors should attend all three.

Spinnaker Clinic (Sunday) 10:00am-4:00pm.
Sunday, June 28th.
10am to noon will be a dockside spinnaker class demonstrating how to fly the spinnaker.  We will break for lunch, and then regroup at 1pm to rig and go practice on the water.

How to be a Better Crew (Monday) 6:00pm-8:00pm

Monday, July 6th

Dave and Betsy Perry will lead an interactive discussion on how to become a better crew w/ focus on winning communication, trim & tips for supporting your skipper and team. Open to all Levels of Crew & Skippers. Happy Hour follows.
