High School Sailing

Pequot Yacht Club supports high school sailing teams PYC provides the waterfront access, facility, boats, and equipment for several local high school sailing programs. The club is used for practices, training and competitions. The teams are part of the Fairfield County Sailing League.

Sailing With Neighbors

PYC celebrates many years of the "Sailing With Neighbors". Starting in 2006 Pequot members have volunteered to sail with inner-city youth that are involved in the Boat Building Program at FSW's Youth Business Center on the east side of Bridgeport.

Sea Scouts

PYC supports the training program of Sea Scout Ship 84.

In The Community

PYC assists the Fairfield Harbor Management Commission and Harbor Master with managing the harbor in the public interest, providing services described in the Visiting Yachtsmen Guide. PYC 's pump-out facility helps achieve town and state goals for protecting and improving water quality in the harbor and Long Island Sound.
